Recognized as a leading figure in the hospitality and food & beverage industries, entrepreneur Robert Earl is the founder and Chairman of Planet Hollywood International, Inc., the chairman of the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and founder of Collide. In addition to his hospitality holdings Earl is a film producer and a television personality. He is also passionate about English football.
Chief Executive Officer
Andrew Mains is a 20 year veteran of the digital and mobile entertainment world, with extensive expertise in creating new mobile platforms and apps to deliver anywhere, anytime access to entertainment content and data. He is leading the Collide team to deliver up close and personal experiences between content creators and their fans through the company’s new live video platform that offers unique on demand interaction with experts, icons and influencers of all genres. Prior to joining Collide, Andrew was the CEO of Mobile Roadie, a powerful mobile publishing and marketing platform allowing world’s leading brands to create iOS and Android apps in minutes. Among Mobile Roadie’s thousands of clients were The Rolling Stones, The Wynn Las Vegas Hotel, The World Economic Forum, Taylor Swift, Radio Disney, Cirque du Soleil, NFL, NBA and NHL teams. While serving emerging digital platforms Andrew was Advisor to FitStar, a leading fitness app that was acquired by Fitbit in 2015. Earlier in his career Andrew held multiple executive positions in the digital music space, including Vice President of Digital at Interscope Records for seven years where he directed digital strategy for the nation’s largest record company and exporter of music worldwide, including the label’s adoption of new technology to break new marketing ground and galvanize communities of fans around top music artists. While at Interscope, Andrew guided the digital marketing efforts of artists including Eminem, Gwen Stefani and U2, while participating in innovative partnerships with Apple, Microsoft and Cingular, among others. Other key roles in the digital music sector included Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Topspin, where Andrew led global sales, marketing and services teams that brought some of the world’s biggest artists and brands to the Topspin platform while guiding managers, record labels and distributors on the best methods to successfully manage direct to consumer marketing and commerce. Andrew was also a Principal of Hear No Evil, a digital music consulting entity that worked with clients including William Morris Agency, Universal Music Group and Paramount Pictures.
Chief Advertising Officer
Corey Spiegel brings 20+ years of entertainment advertising and sponsorship integration expertise to Earl Enterprises where she oversees all advertising sales, marketing, integrations and brand partnerships for Planet Hollywood International, Buca di Beppo, Earl of Sandwich and new digital entertainment content platform, Collide.
Corey and her senior sales team are responsible for generating advertising revenues, engaging and signing new sponsors, creating unique cross-platform programs for premium brands and managing all advertising campaigns.
Previously Corey was Vice President of Digital Sales at Warner Brothers where she managed a multi-million dollar transcontinental sales team across all categories for the Warner Brothers Television Group’s titles, including “Ellen”, “Extra”, TMZ, DC Entertainment, Flixster and Rotten Tomatoes.
Earlier in her career, Corey was Senior Vice President of SD Media where she ran west coast advertising sales for print and digital titles including Playboy. She also managed all integrations and advertising for the iconic Playboy Jazz Festival for 15 years signing prestigious and premium brands to “Official Sponsorship” positions.
Corey got her start in advertising working on account management and media buying and planning teams at DDB Needham Worldwide Los Angeles and Wells Rich Greene agencies in New York City.
She is a native of New Jersey and a holds a degree in advertising from the University of Pittsburgh.
Chief Technology Officer
Tony Lockard has 20+ years of experience in the implementation and operation of technology in the Media and Entertainment space. The bulk of his career has been spent leading emerging or transformative technology groups or start-ups with a focus on disruptive innovation. He enjoys the challenge of helping companies transform their technology platforms and organizations and has an extensive background in successfully leading these types of initiatives.
Tony grew up in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from Trinity University with a degree in Computer Science. After graduation he worked in the petrochemical industry and was an early pioneer in the art and science of large file-based data and media management solutions for 3D CAD and 3D Seismic workflows — big data before there was “Big Data.”
Tony began his career in Media and Entertainment at Liberty Sports in Dallas (later Fox Sports Net in Los Angeles) where he applied his knowledge in technology and file-based workflows to the management and movement of media content. In subsequent years Tony held technology leadership roles at Sony Pictures, Ascent Media, Technicolor, TMZ and most recently as VP of Technology for the global media brand Machinima. In addition to his roles at large established companies, Tony served asas CTO of several startups focused on cutting edge technologies in the media and content space, most notably Clickstar, a joint-venture between Morgan Freeman and Intel, which produced original series and movie content with major entertainment personalities bundled along with catalog studio content all delivered over the Web and via IP on set-top boxes. Clickstar was years ahead of its time and foreshadowed the current rise of Netflix and OTT revolution.
A very hands-on technologist, Tony is focused on the “deep dive” into architecture and design, and plays an active day-to-day role in mentoring his teams in best practices and patterns. He also has a very deep understanding of Agile software techniques and DevOps culture and practices. Tony is currently focused on the coming wave of transition brought on by the rise of cloud, containerization, and real-time analytics which he believes will be a sea change to the way systems and technology organizations are built, organized, and operated — not only in the consumer space but in the enterprise B2E and B2B space as well.
Vice President of Digital Marketing
Matt MacNaughton, Vice President of Digital Marketing, joins Collide with more than a decade of Digital Marketing experience including founding and serving as CEO at PromoJam for six years. While at PromoJam, Matt launched the first "Tweet to Download" social currency viral campaign in 2008, defining a new category of Social Marketing Platform. While more recently based in Sydney, Australia, Matt led a portfolio of digital marketing products for Telstra, Australia’s largest telecommunications and media company, delivering end-to-end marketing solutions for global brands including McDonald's, Dominos, and T-Mobile. Matt Studied Music Business at Northeastern University and earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics at Claremont McKenna College.
